Software Engineer in Test
Что предстоит делать
We’re hiring a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team at CVAT.ai. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated test suites for web and microservice applications. You will write and debug Python scripts, use Pytest and Cypress frameworks, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. The position requires a solid understanding of client‑server architecture, microservices, web application security, and performance testing. You’ll collaborate with developers and QA engineers to ensure high quality releases, contribute to test strategy, and help improve testing processes. The role is fully remote, with preference for candidates located in EU, Georgia, or Armenia, and offers a full‑time schedule.

- 2+ years of experience in test automation
- Strong Python skills for writing and debugging test scripts
- Experience with Pytest, Cypress, or similar frameworks
- Understanding of client-server architecture and microservices
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with web application security and performance testing
- Experience with Git and QA methodologies
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- API testing experience (Postman, Swagger)
- Databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite)
- Kubernetes and performance testing experience
