Go developer for Fintech Project (Remote)
Что предстоит делать
Velmie is a fintech startup looking for an experienced Go developer to join a remote, part‑time, project‑based engagement. The role focuses on building scalable, reliable, and secure financial technology services. You will work closely with a small, agile team to design and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud‑native solutions. The project involves using Go, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services such as AWS. You will also collaborate on database design with MySQL and NoSQL systems, and contribute to the overall architecture and performance optimization. The team values clean code, rigorous testing, and continuous learning, and you will have the opportunity to experiment with AI coding agents like Codex or Claude Code to boost productivity. Velmie offers a flexible remote work environment, a project‑based contract, and the chance to work on cutting‑edge fintech solutions without location restrictions in Russia.

- Deep expertise in Go
- Understanding of the standard library
- Experience working with concurrency concepts and techniques
- Knowledge of Git
- Experience working with Linux
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL or others)
- To understand how computer networks work
- Understanding of Docker, docker-compose
- Experience using AI coding agents (e.g. Codex, Claude Code)
- English language proficiency enough to read technical documentation
- Ability to learn and get new knowledge fast
- Ability to work in a team
- Experience working with NoSql
- Experience creating RESTful API
- Experience with AWS
- Experience building microservices
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm Charts
- Expertise in CI/CD configuration (bitbucket pipelines, GitHub actions, Gitlab CI/CD)
